in no particular order

reels time: this started over the summer i think. my friend who sends me a million horrible reels a day started facetiming me, screensharing, and then we would watch every reel we'd sent each other since last reels time. we do this 1-3 times a week, i'd say, and it often takes 2-3 hours to get through all the reels. we've had to swear a few truces to stop sending certain things. his suggested reels are so fucked up and he often will, while screensharing, open up some fan art of some shirtless beautiful man, and silently, serious as the grave, zoom in on his nipples, contemplate them for a while, and then comment on how it's intellectually interesting.
british/american werewofl cultural exchange roleplay: i don't really know how to explain this one but this same friend and i spent a good hour or so sending back and forth clips where i was doing a southern accent and he was doing a british accent and we were both pretending to be werewolves and sort of old friends who'd lost touch a little and had maybe had a few disagreements and we were catching up and talking about differences in werewolf life in the south of the us versus in the uk.
having a job: *tears in eyes, hand shakily forming a weak thumbs up* w-we love it

acnh again, but especially the dlc: quite frankly a load-bearing part of 2024 when i think about it
lying to my friends: top-tier, of course only when it's about minor things. special shout out to jasper, who i kept lying to about animal crossing and who for some reason kept believing me. i told him that if you don't play for too many days in a row, your animals die like for real die, and they believed me and worried about it for like weeks.
midnight tinder: all i have to say about kenedy is AWOOOOGA hummina hummina hummina *my eyes turn huge and the irises become hearts, steam comes out of my ears, i float up into the air a little bit, i start pawing the ground like a bull and panting like a dog*
i will be so honest apparently i played practically no games this year
chess: yeah chess. and what of it. my friend and i started out playing with me knowing nothing and making only choices i found funny and then i got kind of okay.
sitting out in the parking lot and trying a different energy drink every day on my lunch break at the job i had in the spring and sending a photo and a review of it to my friend: i think i liked the berry red bull best of the fun flavors but ultimately my favorite is classic original battery acid red bull. once i think i inspired my friend to try whatever i was having that day and she sent me a picture of her own
threatening to/promising to/implying i might rewatch fruits basket: sometimes it's nice to toy with the idea of reawakening in me a true rage
going to the er: i did that in 2024. does that count as a game?

getting an honestly pretty mid sandwich from one of the coffee shops in town every few months and talking about it constantly like it's a toxic situationship i'm in: i like it better when it's worse
